Preseason to Elevate Flavors
Before first use, the molcajete may be pre-seasoned by using either a garlic method or a rice with rock salt method. Other spices such as cumin or pepper can also be used in the pre-seasoning process. Pre-seasoning will elevate the flavors every time you use it. To clean, simply rinse with water and use a brush or cloth to remove any particles. It is not recommended to use to soap or detergent when cleaning the molcajete.
